Food Diaries #1: Starbucks @Park Mansions, Kolkata

Food is one such domain that I never thought would ever explore either with my lens or mouth! You see, I'm not much of a foodie, but the idea of food, and that too something unique and unconventional delights me in such a manner that it encourages me to take up my pen and lens both to write and capture about it, beside my mouth.
So here I'm trying to pen a piece about my food journey in the city of joy and occasionally outside the city and let's hope I can give full justice to this nom-nom blog post.

My very first food journey (not literally! but for my blogging and food photography purpose) begins with Starbucks, Kolkata.

Starbucks maybe a most loved coffee shop around the world. But its hard to say how much loved it will be in the city of joy. Starbucks has finally opened its doors in Kolkata after much wait and speculation, last month. Sadly, Kolkata's Starbucks' experience is not that bucks worthy. Moreover, the service of the staffs of Starbucks needs a lot of improvement, before it is left forgotten and ignored by the city folks.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“A liar is always lavish of oaths.”

E. Lockhart, the New York Times bestselling author, has penned an interesting young adult part-thriller and part-contemporary book called, Genuine Fraud that revolves around a teenage orphan girl, who is on the run, and in probably impersonating myriad identities, but why is she on the run? And for that, you need to trust the author as well as the story and not compare with some other book from where the author has found her inspiration. So kindly respect that and let's stop comparing the two and two, and rather talk about this book in particular. Debates can be taken up elsewhere, review is not the right place to talk about it.
